How Do I Bid?

Register as a user of Hang With the Band and log in to your account.

Hit the “Place Your Bid” button for the event you want to place a bid for (each event has it’s own minimum bid amount).
Type in the dollar value of your first bid and pay that amount with your Paypal account or valid credit card.

Once your first bid is accepted and approved you will be considered a Validated Bidder and can increase your bid as often as you like up until the auction close. If you end up in a winning position at the end of the auction you will be sent a Paypal invoice for the difference between your original bid (already paid for) and your final bid at auction close to secure your final ranking.

All bids are time stamped so that in the event of a tie, the person who bid first will get the higher ranking. Keep in mind that you get to choose where you sit at both the dinner and the show based on your final ranking!

If you do not end up in a winning ranking as per the details of the event you are bidding on, you will be refunded the entire amount of any bid amount you’ve made that you’ve paid for.

You must be 18 years or older with a valid credit card or Paypal account to participate and you may bid for up to one other person who must also be a registered member of Hang With the Band. Check your current ranking anytime by logging into your account and refreshing the page to update. Bid as often as you like but remember, you can’t decrease or revoke your bid once it’s confirmed (see Terms of Use for complete bidding rules).
